Although our church office has remained open during this period of COVID restrictions, one question members and the community at large have is: “When will the church resume Sunday worship services, Bible studies and other functions at the church?”
Church Council met at the end of June to discuss this and other matters. Sunday worship services and other events will resume only when council feels it is safe and prudent to do so. As such, Council formed a “Reopening Committee” to determine conditions under which services could resume, along with measures and restrictions that will be required to meet the Provincial standards for safety and cleanliness. Stay tuned for the results of their work sometime this summer.
A summary of other Council discussions is shown below. For more detail, please read Kelly Meade’s complete letter to our members which is re-posted on the Member’s Corner page of our website.
